Our Vegetable Box program (CSA)
What is Community Supported Agriculture ?
A CSA operated farm distributes its products to local area members on a shared basis.
Each week, members receive a box of seasonal, local produce. The amount can vary depending on the progress of the growing season. A CSA is a great way to support your local farmer and ensure you eat fresh local produce throughout the season!
Our CSA for 2026 is open for signup !
A share is intended as fresh produce to feed a family up to four (ie. 2 adults, 2 children), or two vegetarian adults.
- We offer a Regular share at $565
- We also have the “Bring It On” share for $719 , which includes the Regular share, and then adds much more! Compare the two choices below.
You’ll pick up your box each week at one of the downtown locations (Wolseley Ave or Warsaw Ave), or at our farm in St. Norbert.

Regular or Bring It On shares ?
We’re proud of the variety you receive in our Regular box. The “Bring It On” share is a way to participate in all the other wonderful things we make at Almost Urban. In addition to all the items in the Regular share, you enjoy extras such as preserves, dried herbs, flowers, soap or tea.

BIO shares include Almost Urban made extras such as:
• More of our array of beautiful, fresh-picked, vegetables
• Preserves such as pickles and apple butter
• Homemade goat milk soap
• Micro greens and salad garnishes
• Specialty vegetables such as heritage cherry tomatoes, or mini-peppers
• Cut flowers for your table
• Honey from our farm
• Extra gourmet herbs
Culinary Herb Option !
Add Herbs to your delivery each week ! Cost is $108 for the season.
Our Fresh Herb Add-On is a great way for you to enjoy a broad mix of local culinary herbs and wild greens for 13 weeks of the season. Three generous herb bunches will be added to your weekly box: some are traditional varieties we often see in our kitchens, and some are lesser known herbs that add unique and interesting flavours to your culinary feats (or feasts). Each offering includes educational information about each herb or green for perfect pairings, as well as best practices for winter storage that retains the best flavours.

Flower Bouquets Option !

You can purchase a weekly flower bouquet, designed with beautiful flowers grown on our farm.
8 weeks – Week of July 8 to Week of August 26
Cost is $176 for the season.
You will save more with the CSA box than if you bought the same things at our market stall in the St. Norbert Farmers Market.
